Forget promises.                                                                     Rock Star the film directed by Imtiaz Ali, is a big disappointment if you expected the film to be  a promising one of Imtiaz. The film is just  a romantic melodrama of two unlikely persons, posing to be a biographical insight into the life of a Rock Star. In the first scenes  of the film , the protagonist is seen looking at Jim Morrison's Poster which is his idol, in his room which gives us a little hope that this film may do justice to it's title. But what we get to watch is less of a legend like Jim Morrison and more of a grief stricken and heart broken lover.What happens after throughout the film can be tucked into  the song "Emotional attyachar" in the background.
